Who We Are

Jaswinder Singh

 

Armed with  Post-graduation  in 1984 and B.A. Hons degree in Punjabi from Delhi, he ventured out for life in language. Due to the close proximity of Urdu to Punjabi literarture, he got certificate in Urdu as well.

 

Love of language took him to many places, which infact made his experience kitty look like brimming from language (Punjabi) teaching to translation of children magazines and literary translation, from news reading in Punjabi in ALL INDIA RADIO, New Delhi to news editing in Zee alpha's Punjabi News, from editing of Sajjari Dastak (A Punjabi Fortnightly) to  editor to web magazine Netjaal (Reliance India's magazine- Formarly known as Dhirubhai Ambani Group)- punjabi. And then comes the internet......

 

It opens the whole word to him. He runs Dastak (a language bureau for Indian languages) for last 15 years (7 years online)  and doing Punjabi translations for many international clients.

 

Having experience of twenty years in the field of teaching and translation work in to Punjabi from other languages and vice-versa.

 

 

Jasbir Kaur 

 

With fire in her heart and mind, she did her P h.D in Punjabi. Feminist Thought is underlying foundation for her thesis and poetry. Armed with commerce degree (English medium) and a certificate course in Urdu, she is the business associate, one can be proud of working with. Technically sound and translation wise outstanding, she is out to win the world. She believes - 'Nothing is impossible' - and that brings out the winning streak in her.      

 

Having experience of twenty years in the field of teaching and translation work in to Punjabi from other languages and vice-versa. 

 

 

Generally we feel comfortable with 2000 words per day, but our translators can manage more words, depending upon the necessity of job. More than 3000 words is can easily be taken care of.

We are available for quick turn around.
